Dropoff in park visitation after last year's USNPS centennial? Not at Zion NP

Zion National Park remains on pace to set a new record for visitors this year after getting through Labor Day and the unofficial end of summer.

Campgrounds filled early, shuttle buses were filled to capacity and lines of vehicles spilled out into the neighboring town of Springdale again over the holiday weekend, with crowds that officials say were comparable to last year when some 80,000 visitors were counted over the three day period.
