Aggressive grizzly killed by officials in Yellowstone NP; had several encounters with people

Yellowstone National Park biologists captured and killed an aggressive grizzly bear in the southern part of the park earlier this month.

A news release from the park that was sent this morning said biologists captured and killed the bear Sept. 8 near Heart Lake. It was a young male grizzly and it had been involved in several conflicts with humans, according to the release.
