Parkwire on vacation June 29 through July 12

Dear Parkwire Readers — Parkwire will be on hiatus during the period June 29–July 12 while I and my family travel to a number of protected areas as part of our vacation.  It's possible that I'll find time to post a few stories during this time, but ... perhaps not!

In any case, when I get back I will choose a selection of (what seem to me to be) the most important stories from the backlog.
