Australia: Plans for new NP in Sydney put on hold until shooting club can be relocated
PLANS to create a new national park in southeast Sydney have been halted after a judge ruled that a shooting club should be allowed to continue using Malabar Headland.
The NSW Rifle Association, which has leased a shooting range on the site from the commonwealth since 2000, was given three months' notice to vacate the site in October 2011.
