Canada: Mount Allison University to restore Hammond House NHS
SACKVILLE, N.B – Mount Allison University’s Hammond House, Sackville’s only National Historic Site, will soon be restored to its former glory.
Hammond House, also known as Black House, has been empty since 2009. The $1.3 million renovation and restoration will allow the building to return to its original purpose at Mount Allison and serve as the president’s official residence.
