Angola: Officials pitch historic sites of Mbanza Kongo, cave paintings of Tchitundo Hulo as potential World Heritage sites
Brussels – The project to turn the historic sites of Mbanza Kongo, in northern Zaire province, and the cave paintings of the Tchitundo Hulo granite hill, in south-west Namibe province, into the World Heritage was presented at the third meeting of ministers from the African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) in Brussels.
This was informed by the experts of Angolan Ministry of Culture, who attended the meeting held from 15-18 October in Brussels.
