Instructions for Poster Presentations
Each poster presentation will be allotted a vertical space 44 inches high x 44 inches wide (i.e., half of one side of a standard display panel, thus allowing two posters on each side of the panel). This 44x44 inch space is the maximum space available to you, since there will be another poster adjacent to yours on the panel. We highly recommend that you allot space for a title (using 4-inch high letters) running across the top of your poster; this will make it much easier for people strolling by to immediately notice your subject.

Either push pins or upholstery pins can be used to secure your poster to the display panel. Each panel will have a table placed directly underneath it to use for handouts or display copies of publications. You are responsible for bringing materials needed to display your poster, but we will have a supply of pins.
Poster set-up begins Thursday morning, October 6, at 7 AM in the Pond Student Union Ballroom. There will be a diagram of the poster session layout available so presenters can find their assigned locations All posters should be in place by 10 AM and will be available for continuous viewing Thursday and Friday. Authors will be asked to stand by their posters during the final hour (5-6 PM ) of the poster session on Friday. You are, of course, encouraged to be available for discussion in the poster session at other times, if possible. All posters must be removed immediately after 6 PM Friday.
