The GWS Publications Program

The George Wright Society publishes a variety of materials that discuss timely issues in park research, resource management, and education. The purpose of our publications program is to make the information we publish available to as wide an audience as possible. 

You can download most GWS publications free of charge

In line with this purpose, the GWS Board of Directors has decided to make electronic (PDF) versions of almost all of our publications available free of charge for anyone to download from this website. The only publications not available for download are GWS conference proceedings prior to 2001 — these have not yet been digitized.

As of May 2017, we no longer have any hard copies of GWS publications for sale, and the Publications Order form has been discontinued.
